"Absolutely atrocious customer service, on a specific way. People there are generally kind and somewhat accommodating when speaking to them. However, I was lied to, repeatedly, about the same simple request, FOR YEARS, before I got an accurate answer. One simple request. Call me, before you cancel my policy. They seem happy to call me randomly to try and upsell me on additional ins. products, but apparently giving me a call to address my account is too much effort. Even though, as I said, I made this request for years. 3++ And every time up until one occasion recently, they said yes, they could do that, no problem, I'll make a note on your acct, etc. Only to. NEVER, not one time, give me a courtesy call. Except for unrelated upsell tactics. Atrocious business practice/customer service. Probably going to avoid State Farm for life after this, certainly avoiding Hunter Wyant's office. No consideration for me in this, even considering I had a major head injury 5 years ago, and sometimes could use a reminder. Instead I got shafted and offered a 40% premium increase. Real classy."

It is our office policy to notify customers when their policies are in danger of being cancelled due to nonpayment of premium. Legally, State Farm corporate is required to mail a letter notifying you of the premium due with the cancellation, which was sent on April 25. In addition to the required letter, we also attempted to contact you on that date but received no response. Our records indicate our team has already been in touch with you to get the policies back in force. We understand how important it is to feel supported and heard, especially when dealing with your insurance needs. If there is anything further we can do to clarify any concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office directly. "I have had policies on multiple vehicles and multiple dwellings for over 20 years. After initiating a standard change in coverage on one house, I was notified out of the blue several weeks later that I had to get a new roof or they will drop my coverage in 10 days based on a visual inspection from the ground. Based on this and my experience from an auto claim a couple of years ago, I'll be going somewhere else for my next 20 years of insurance needs."
